OffRecord Terms of Service

Effective 7 October 2026 · Contact: xt.harshh@gmail.com

1. The service

OffRecord lets you record short voice notes and share them publicly, anonymously, or privately, and message other users. Accounts are free; optional Premium unlocks limits and perks.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 or older (under-18s need parental consent). One account per person; you are responsible for activity on it.

3. Your content

You own your voices and replies. By posting you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and transcode them only to operate, promote, and keep OffRecord safe. Anonymous posts stay anonymous to other users, but we can still identify accounts for safety and legal compliance.

4. Acceptable use

5. Moderation & enforcement

We may remove content and warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these terms or the law — including on user reports, which human moderators review. Suspended users are signed out immediately; deletions are voice-by-voice and permanent.

6. Premium, payments & refunds

Premium is billed per plan through Razorpay or manual verification. Subscriptions renew as disclosed at purchase; cancel anytime in Settings — access lasts the paid period. Refunds are decided case-by-case within 7 days of charge; write to us and we revoke premium only when nothing else paid remains. Prices include applicable taxes; GST invoices on request.

7. Termination

You may delete your account anytime (Settings → Delete account or /delete). We may suspend or terminate abusive accounts with or without notice where safety requires it.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits rights you hold under applicable consumer law.

9. Changes & law

We may update these terms with 7 days of in-app notice. They are governed by the laws of India; courts of competent jurisdiction in India decide disputes.
